About the centre

Point Resolution Child Care Centre (PRCC) is a unique, not for profit community based Early Childhood Centre located in Dalkeith. We provide high quality and stimulating early childhood education and care service for a mixed aged group of children up to 6 years of age in an open plan environment. The Centre operates from 7.30am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday and caters for up to 26 children.

About the role

As the PRCC Administration Officer your role will be integral in providing efficient and confidential administrative support to the PRCC Coordinator, staff and other external parties including parents and community members.

In addition, some of the core duties of this role include:

  • Providing reception and administrative services ensuring a high level of customer service;
  • Maintaining positive relationships and inclusive practices with families, children and staff;
  • Providing advice and support via phone and in person to families regarding enrolments and general enquiries;
  • Preparation of fortnight payments/ invoices to parents via QikKids together with following up on overdue payments; and
  • Maintaining accurate internal records within the PRCC SharePoint libraries

Scheduled work days to cover the 19 hours are negotiable and can be discussed further on successfully gaining an interview.

About the successful candidate

The successful applicant will enjoy variety in their work, have a can do attitude and previous administrative and/or reception experience.

It is essential for the successful applicant to also have the following:

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Well-developed time management skills, including the ability to prioritise workload in a busy environment.
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A current National Police Certificate; and
  • Proficiency in MS Office with knowledge of QikKids being advantageous.

What we offer

This Level 2 permanent, 19 hours per week position offers a salary of $53,300 – $58,900 per annum (pro-rata) plus superannuation depending on skills and experience.
