About the role

An opportunity exists for an experienced Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) professional.

As the first point of contact for OSH, you will be expected to promote a positive health and safety culture across the City, provide technical advice and deliver OSH services, develop, and monitor safety and health plans, conduct investigations, and risk assessments, and make recommendations and identify improvement opportunities.

About the successful candidate

The person we seek will possess a Certificate IV in OSH or equivalent as well as with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar OSH role. The position is suited to someone who has experience in and has a thorough working knowledge and understanding of the application of relevant OSH legislation, regulations, and best practices.

The successful candidate will have the ability to work with business unit leaders, staff and external stakeholders and possess excellent communication, problem solving and computer skills.

What we offer

This permanent, full time Level 4/5 position offers a cash salary of $70,300 - $95,200 per annum plus superannuation.

Please note that part time employment with a minimum of 30.4 hours a week would be considered for the right candidate.
