JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

The Volunteer Recruitment Coordinator serves to enhance the lives of the people we support by engaging volunteers in meaningful roles. This includes; recruitment, selection, appointment, training, recognition, compliance, and a range of exciting volunteer projects, across all VMCH service areas. The ideal candidate will present with the ability to foster and develop strong stakeholder relationships as well as have skills in multi tasking and working to deadlines. You will also present with the following:

Skills & experience

  • Awareness of current and emerging issues and trends in volunteering.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Flexible and self-motivated with excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of computer literacy – MS Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Demonstrated experience and/or commitment to internal and external auditing requirements.
  • Good initiative and ability to work as part of a team and work without supervision.
  • Solution focused approach to work.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Experience in event coordination or similar projects.
  • Alignment with, and commitment to upholding VMCH’s vision, mission, and values.
  • A current Victorian driver’s licence.
