Position Title: Clinical Research Administrative Assistant
Employment Type: Maximum Term Part-time (up to 12 month contract)

Hours per week: 8 hours per week

Salary: $63408.44 to $64936.23 (pro rata for 0.2FTE ) per annum

Position Summary:

The St Vincent’s Centre for Applied Medical Research Clinical Research Program is seeking a Clinical Research Administration Assistant to provide administrative support to St Vincent’s Clinical Genomics.

The successful applicant will have a keen attention to detail while undertaking clinical research related duties on projects and cases that are at varying phases of drafting, execution and completion. These include but are not limited to: clinical and research data entry into relevant clinical genetic & research databases; data extraction and assisting preparation of research abstracts, manuscripts for a systematic review; patient genetic/medical records scanning, patient/participant liaison, coordinating sample collection, compiling blood or other pathology kits, biological sample shipping and tracking, arranging courier services; taking minutes at meetings; collating and printing Investigator Site Files; designing and implementing forms to streamline activities to meet project milestones.

The successful applicant will join a team of clinicians and researchers in Clinical Genomics and be an active member assisting in the execution of these studies.

The vacancy is open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those non-residents deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia only.
