The People Advisor position plays a key role in the shared success of the People team. Providing day to day operational support to the People team, the role will provide informed, best practice advice to business/stakeholders on HR matters such as policies, process, recruitment, compliance etc. The role also delivers end-to-end employee life cycle activities whilst helping the Director of People to drive innovative people initiatives and solutions to the Brand.

  • Work with the people team to operationalise the people strategy
  • Work closely with managers to help them manage the performance and development of their team
  • Support the Director of People in the achievement of D&I benchmarks
  • Provide advice to employees & managers on policy and process requirements
  • Support the people team in executing Group-wide and local employee engagement surveys
  • Assist in the collection of data and feedback to contribute towards meaningful people insights, projects, business cases and reporting
  • Preparation of employment agreements, variation letters
  • Manage the VISA process, liaising with team members on all required process
  • Support the delivery of our onboarding program and experience
  • Liaising with wider team to deliver the starters and leavers process; managing the completion of offboarding activities
  • Work with Rewards on salary benchmarking data to assist with salary cycles and promotions process
  • Ensure all relevant SOX compliance procedures and processes are followed and adhered to


  • At least 1 to 2 years of HR administrative experience in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Comfortable interpreting Australian employment law and HR policies
  • Strong Microsoft Suite skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Basic understanding of HR processes such as onboarding, offboarding, HR metrics reporting.
  • Excellent organisational, time management skills to manage & prioritise a variety of tasks on a daily basis
  • A strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and consistent delivery
  • A strong customer centric mindset, responsive, reliable with ability to manage expectations of internal customers
  • Be willing and open to accept and give feedback to grow and develop
  • Highly motivated, enthusiastic and strong work ethic who can work on own initiative; constantly thinking ahead; demonstrating a hands-on approach to all tasks
  • Comfortable with ambiguity - flexible and adaptable with a willingness to learn and ‘jump in’ wherever needed
