A new opportunity has now arisen for an experienced and motivated payroll professional to join our small and dynamic HR team.

Epiroc has an opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Payroll Administrator to join our team.

Your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:

  • End to end payroll processing;
  • Processing of new starters and staff movements, including setting up new employee master files;
  • Processing of termination payments;
  • Ensuring legislative compliance obligations are maintained, including superannuation and PAYG payments, payroll tax lodgement and annual reconciliations, workers compensation declarations;
  • Responding to and resolving employees’ payroll queries in a timely manner;
  • Maintaining novated lease deduction records;
  • Provision of assistance with month end payroll reporting;
  • Calculating leave and termination payments;

Key skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • Strong experience in end to end payroll processing;
  • Very strong organizational skills and close attention to detail;
  • Ability to meet deadlines, multi-task and prioritise tasks;
  • Experience in working with EBAs and Awards;
  • Strong systems experience. HR3 experience an advantage;
  • Ability to work with an integrated HR/Payroll system;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Good Microsoft Office skills;
  • Very strong Excel skills.
