The Prime Video AUNZ team is looking for a dynamic, Senior Acquisition and Engagement Manager to help grow our business in New Zealand. The role will own our marketing strategy, acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives for New Zealand- building an understanding the NZ customer and media landscape and customizing our global initiatives accordingly. They will analyze performance and develop business cases to increase acquisition, engagement and retention by influencing decision-making across marketing, content, and product. They will accomplish this by analyzing lifecycle performance, defining customer segmentation leveraging Amazon data and market segment research, and working with key stakeholders to set performance goals and influence the project roadmap. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to proactively engage and build relationships with business stakeholders and senior leadership.

· Tracks and analyzes the business growth of Prime Video NZ, across existing and new Lines of Business.
· Establishes analytical frameworks for evaluating content and marketing tactics, and performs complex data analysis to influence stakeholders.
· Leads analysis on the acquisition funnel to identify trends and opportunities for improvement across marketing channels and devices or to invest in new feature areas.
· Leads analysis on the customer lifecycle to identify high performing and at risk cohorts, influencing the design of experiments and A/B tests across on-site and off-site marketing tactics to optimize the customer experience.
· Identifies and tracks customer segments at the demographic, psychographic, and geographic level to inform content and marketing strategy.
· Establishes mechanisms for tracking and reporting on Prime Video awareness and subscription intent, leveraging survey research, custom panels, and brand lift studies. Informs development/improvement of brand trackers and other research for the NZ market-segment.
· Acts as main local liaison with US-based Research and Insights teams, driving communication and alignment on priorities to solve for local needs; synthesizes and shares out global research learnings with local team.
· Owns the customer experience for NZ customers, working with central marketing teams to customize storefront merchandizing, owned and paid marketing channels.


1. 8+ years of professional marketing experience
2. Excellent project management skills, experience building and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
3. Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
4. Proficiency with Tableau and Microsoft Excel for making charts, data manipulation, pivot tables, and creating macros
5. Understanding of basic statistics concepts (e.g., hypothesis testing, regression analysis)
6. Strong analytical skills with ability to conduct research, build models and use independent judgment to solve problems
7. Excellent verbal and written communications skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives
8. Experience developing and executing high-performing marketing campaigns on time and within budget. Relentlessly high standards with impeccable attention to detail
9. Ability to think strategically and operationally, delivering the day to day while defining and leading future direction
10. Excellent communicator both verbally and written with an ability to communicate at all levels in the organization and build strong relationships
11. Advanced decision-making skills with proven ability to lead, influence, align and inspire teams, including those who are not direct reports
12. Bachelor's degree or equivalent
