Our prominent Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join their office at the APS4 level. Within this role, you will provide a high level of executive and administrative support to ensure the operations of the executive office are managed effectively and within required timeframes.


  • Providing a first point of contact for the executive office, coordinating requests for information from internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the diary, including arranging appointments, travel and meetings
  • Preparing minor correspondence on behalf of the executive manager and the office
  • Maintaining a variety of databases to manage the workflow for correspondence, cabinet documents, mail and correspondence
  • Monitoring and acquitting travel


  • Intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel and Travel systems
  • Sound proficiency in sharing and exchanging information and resources in an appropriate manner
  • Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with a range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisational skills


This is a security assessed position. Applicants must be an Australian citizen, with successful candidate either holding or having the ability to obtain a Baseline Australian Government security clearance or undergo other employment suitability checks.
