A Day in the Life



This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral member of our highly successful Respiratory & Monitoring Solutions (RMS) team at Medtronic.



The Clinical Specialist will assist the assigned State by providing clinical support and customer education to key Clinicians and hospital staff within the assigned territory to achieve sales revenue and market share.



In this role, you will:

  • Provide technical and Theatre case support as required.
  • Conduct technical in-services and presentations to customers.
  • Support Territory Managers’ account sales strategies through regular contact with key specialists and technical staff.
  • Gather market intelligence on customer and competitor activity and communicate to Territory Managers and Divisional Staff.
  • Ensure the highest level of product knowledge is attained and maintained.
  • Support Territory Managers with inventory control, including the expedited delivery of stock to customers as needed.
  • Monitor field inventory effectively to ensure appropriate levels of inventory maintained.
  • Complete cycle counts of all required field locations on time and follow up on any missing stock.
  • Retrieve all expiring product from field locations and return to the warehouse prior to expiry.

Must Have – Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in clinical setting (eg in-theatre) or medical device industry
  • Nursing qualifications, general sciences degree or similar
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on exceeding customer expectations
  • Ability to perform under pressure
