About the role- Butler Area Perth- Autism experience

We are looking for someone who lives in the local area as we have multiple short shifts. There's however potential for more shifts.

The client prefers a Support worker with autism experience. The role includes mostly Community Access taking client to a number of appointments and activities.

The Disability Support Worker provides in-home support with health issues and daily living tasks such as washing, dressing, eating, transport and budgeting. Assist with the delivery of activities to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of those in their care. The Support Worker may also be required to take clients for appointments so reliable car and Driver's licence a must.

Duties & responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and support to participants including but not limited to washing, dressing, eating, transport and fulfilling appointments such as doctors appointments or community participation.
  • Taking clients to community outings/appointments. A Driver's Licence is a must

Skills & experience

  • Certificate in Aged Care or Disability or any other relevant qualification
  • Police checks
  • Driver's Licence
  • Working with Vulnerable people check

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Salary: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
