Full Job Description
Join a high-profile federal government organisation at the centre of policy development and service delivery. They aim to deliver innovative ways to assist the development and implementation of Government policies as well as providing advice on how to solve the issues facing Australia.

THE ROLE

This initial 6 month contract is a great chance to utilise your recruitment experience, where you will be involved in managing the coordination and administration of recruitment processes (advertising internal and external vacancies, and management of additional external media advertising) while further developing your HR knowledge in the APS. You will have the chance to work alongside a high performing team within a fast paced but interesting and rewarding role.

Maintain computer-based systems, such as eRecruit (Acendre) to monitor and progress of end to end recruitment activities
Respond to requests from clients for information or advice on recruitment, administrative or operational matters including recruitment processes, employing staff, and staff movements across the department
Build and maintain productive networks with key stakeholders within the department, across the APS and with external stakeholders including recruitment agencies
Accurate and timely record keeping and filing relating to all aspects of recruitment
Undertake self-initiated research to enable the provision of accurate advice
Manage your workload within Service Portal, eRecruit and Recruitment mailbox, including assisting with work allocation in absence of APS6 Senior Recruitment Officers
YOUR BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

You will be self-motivated and a quick learner. You will bring a high level of administration and organisational skills, high attention to detail, sound judgement and a demonstrated practical experience in recruitment with previous APS experience.

You will be able to effectively use your initiative and exercise sound judgment to make decisions. You will have a personable and sociable personality whilst maintaining the ability to remain focused in a fast-paced environment and will be eager to learn and develop.

Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment or human resources team is preferred.

A current Baseline clearance is essential for this position.

SALARY / RATE
$40 - $50 per hour + Super
6 month contract
