6 month contract + possible extension
No clearance required - Must be an Australian Citizen

About the role

Our Government client is seeking an experienced and resilient Change Manager to provide leadership and direction in relation to change activities to assist with the delivery of successful projects and programs.

This is a contract position for 6 months initially.

Key Requirements

Establish and specify the extent of the organisational change required to successfully deliver the project or program.
Lead the change to process, work practices, organisational structure, training, communications, roles and responsibilities to ensure the realisation of the project or programs benefits.
Support the development and implementation of the project or program stakeholder engagement strategy and communications plan.
Lead the development, implementation and review of change management and communications plans and strategies to ensure the successful implementation of the project or program.
Lead stakeholder engagement with a focus on benefits management and realisation.
Provide high level advice and support to the Executive Sponsor, Chief Information Officer and other senior management and staff in the execution of projects and programs that require significant clinical and/or business change.
Engage and influence key internal and external stakeholders and build and maintain effective networks and relationships to achieve the change management objectives of the project or program.

Required Skills and Experience

Proven ability to lead and manage change in a complex stakeholder organisation.
Extensive experience in the development and implementation of targeted communications to achieve a desired outcome.
Demonstrated written communication skills in the development of a range of documentation including articles, reports, briefs, plans and submissions.
Proven ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders including clinicians, executive, administration staff and consumers.
Highly developed problem-solving skills which demonstrate the ability to provide recommendations to address complex workplace issues.

Desirable

Undergraduate or postgraduate qualifications in change management or communications/media/journalism.
Previous change management experience within a healthcare setting.
Certification in ADKAR/PROSCI

Australian Citizenship is required
