Your new employer

The vibrant Town of Victoria Park is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic and experienced Finance Officer (Rates) to join our skilled team in a part time (30 hours per week) capacity with potential to become full time.

Your new role

Reporting to the Senior Rates officer, you will be responsible to provide a high level of assistance and support to the rates department and ratepayers. In addition, you will have absolute attention to detail and a genuine flair for providing exceptional customer service.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • experience in Local Government rating procedures and relevant legislation
  • strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • strong numeracy skills
  • good time management skills
  • strong computer skills
