The Role:
Work for a Large Government agency that employs over 800+ employees across Australia.

Key Responsibilities:
As Campaign Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of a safety education and behaviour change campaigns!

Work across the branch and organisation to develop communication strategies and tactics that will contribute to ongoing safety education and help to achieve a high uptake of recreational registration and operator accreditation
Develop and implement communication strategies that consider previous campaigns and strategies, including new and innovative approaches, being mindful of cost and resource constraints
Use market research and behavioural insights to inform decisions
Develop supplier briefs as/if required, including creative, research and media, providing recommendations and feedback
Manage procurement activities, projects, contractors and resources in line with processes and procedures, including contracted services, such as advertising media, creative and market research agencies
Ensure consistency of all messaging associated with the introduction of the relevant regulations, including communications support for the ancillary tactics, the website and virtual assistant, to align with the campaign, regulations, and service delivery requirements
Work cooperatively and collaboratively with internal stakeholders, including IT, client services, and remotely piloted aircraft systems teams, to develop and implement communication and advertising strategies
Appropriate management of time and workload to ensure both delivery and quality of the position's responsibilities and deliverables
Regular progress reporting, as required
Other related tasks as directed by the Safety Campaign Project Manager, Engagement, Communications and Safety Education
Promote workplace safety, equity and diversity, participative management and environmental management in the workplace and act in accordance with Values and Behaviours.

About you:
The Specified Personnel must have demonstrated experience in:
Campaign management, including a working knowledge of the government's advertising guidelines
Project management experience, with proven ability to coordinate, manage and implement an integrated advertising and communication campaign
Manage procurement processes and service providers
Engage with internal stakeholders to develop communication strategies and information products
Manage internal and external stakeholders

Desirable Attributes?

At least five years' experience in journalist, public relations, marketing, communications or a related field and/or relevant tertiary qualifications
Exceptional interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills
Demonstrated campaign management, including a working knowledge of the government's campaign guidelines and able to apply industry best practice
Demonstrated experience managing a team to deliver effective communication strategies within agreed budgets and timeframes to a high standard
Demonstrated experience supporting communication campaigns through high quality, innovative and effective solutions
Demonstrated experience in managing government campaigns with a focus on changing behaviour
Experience managing research activities and analysing and using research to inform communication strategy development and implementation
Excellent time management skills with an ability to adapt and manage multiple tasks/projects with changing and competing priorities whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
Experience working within a regulatory, government or technical environment an interest or ability to acquire an understanding of the industry and applications.
