The Role

The Senior Mobile Lending Manager is responsible for identifying and developing sources for new home loan and small business clients, whilst maintaining the highest standards of customer service. This role is a key driver for Suncorp to Win in Home Lending and will role model the Suncorp behaviours for other Lenders within Suncorp.

Key Responsibilities

  • Model the highest level of customer services behaviours within your team and portfolio and provide appropriate solutions to home loan and small business customer’s needs
  • Take an active and senior role in the development of capability and engagement within your team and within the portfolio and coach and develop others within the team
  • Monitor and analyse sales, service and credit quality and implement corrective activity where performance gaps exist within budgeted targets
  • Contribute to developing a positive and proactive Safety and Wellbeing culture including meeting all safety and wellbeing compliance requirements
  • Generate opportunities for sales specialists within the Bank to Win in Home Lending across the Group, and implement a business plan to achieve individual and team goals
  • Ability to identify an acceptable level of lending risk in line with Suncorp’s risk appetite statement
  • Implement and monitor a mobile banking marketing and business plan and subsequent achievement to the goals set

Skills & Experience

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, commercial or finance – desired
  • Demonstrated experience in writing and assessing quality credit submissions
  • Proven experience balancing the needs of the customer with the risk appetite
  • Solid lending experience within banking
  • Strong understanding of pricing, margin, expense management and profitability principles
  • Demonstrated experience in financial services
