The Role

As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for meeting, greeting and registering customers and visitors in an efficient and professional manner whilst, managing the switchboard and providing administrative assistance to the business.

We are looking for the right attitude and someone with a strong customer focus that cares about the outcome of our patients. This will be a part-time, permanent opportunity based in our Belconnen site. If you bring the right attitude and care for what you do, we can train you in the rest.

Key Responsibilities:
Answer switchboard and process all incoming external/internal call promptly

Admissions and discharge of patients on a daily basis via the patient database

Answering telephones and ensuring messages are passed in an appropriate manner

Collation and filing of patient reports

Collection of mail from post office

Arranging transport for patients as directed by the Clinic Manager

Ordering of office amenities and stationery

Maintains the patient schedule in consultation with Clinic Manager

Other relevant duties as requested by the Clinic Manager.

Key Requirements of the role include:
Previous experience in providing a range of administrative duties

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work unsupervised

Sound verbal and written communication with high attention to detail

Strong computer skills
