About The Business And The Role

The Institute of Health and Nursing Australia (IHNA) is one of Australia's premier providers of quality education and training. We offer high quality, engaging, interactive online and blended course delivery modes.

We are currently seeking;

  • Part-time/Full Time Trainer/Assessor for face to face delivery of our Business courses/units
  • Fixed-term contract for minimum of 1 year with a possibility of extension


Duties & Responsibilities

Some of the responsibilities of the role will include:
  • Lesson planning and Course delivery
  • Reviewing available resources to plan lessons
  • Conducting and evaluating assessments
  • Resource and assessment tool validation (as required)
  • Conducting simulated & practical placement assessments
  • Associated administrative tasks


Key Selection Criteria
  • Vocational competencies in the field of Business at least to the level of qualifications delivered (Cert IV / Bachelors / Masters level in the field of health administration, practice management or leadership management) (Required)
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 (required)
  • In-depth understanding of ASQA guidelines and standards (highly desirable)

Please note successful candidates are required to have the following checks:
  • National Police Clearance (valid within the last 6 months) or willing to apply for one
  • Working with Children Check or willing to apply for one
