6 month fixed term contract with Government Organisation in Bendigo region.


Your new company
Working with a State Government agency, we are currently looking to appoint an Events Education Program Support Officer for an initial fixed term contract through to 31th of December 2021.

Your new role
In this role, you will work as part of a small team to provide events & administrative assistance to support the business.

Your duties will include:

  • Working within a budget, coordinate and manage workshops for registrars, supervisors, practice managers and medical educators.
  • Support the Education Development and Delivery Team, and Medical Educators to facilitate the overarching education program
  • Complete enrollment and cohort activities in a their system environment as required.
  • Accurately monitor and report registrar participation in online learning activities
  • Accurately monitor and report registrar participation in face to face learning activities
  • Accurately complete data entry requirements in internal business systems
  • Set up and monitor webinars as required
  • Major event support, including conferences
  • Establish and monitor repository of education program materials.
  • As appropriate, assist with day to day operational tasks.
  • Other duties as directed

What you'll need to succeed
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in these roles, you will be able to demonstrate:
  • Previous experience in event management
  • Proven ability to build and maintain positive relationships including with
  • educators and/or health professionals
  • Ability to work efficiently, demonstrating high skills levels in: written and verbal communication
  • initiative and autonomy.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Familiarity and confidence in using webinars platforms (Zoom, GoToTraining)
  • 2 reference check
