Project Administrator

Provide a range of project support services that contribute to the effective day-to-day office operations

Your new company
An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced administrator to join a government agency in Sydney’s CBD that deals with healthcare professionals. This role will be for 6 months, with a view of extension for the right individual.

Your new role
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will be required to take responsibility and ownership for various administrative jobs including, but not limited to:

  • Manage complaints about health practitioners and draft letters of response in a timely manner, in line with the agency’s policies and regulation.
  • Manage your own caseload of health practitioners whose professional performance or professional conduct may be unsatisfactory or whose health may be impaired.
  • Draft written correspondence in the form of reports and briefs for assessment.
  • Coordinate meetings, interviews and assessments including booking appointments, travel, meeting rooms and catering.
  • Distribute agendas and briefs.
  • Ensure that the database and records are accurate and up to date.
  • Respond to telephone enquiries to provide accurate information about the complaints process.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Experience in drafting correspondence, reports and minute taking and TRIM would be an advantage. A regulatory, case management or a complaints management background would be beneficial.

What you'll get in return
In return for your hard work and dedication you will be rewarded with $36.00 per hour and the opportunity to work within a government organisation in the heart of Sydney CBD.
