Position Summary

The Position

St John of God Subiaco Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Administrative Officer to join our Engineering team.

This position will be offered as a 10 month fixed term contract, with 76 hours per fortnight (1.0FTE) on offer for the successful candidate. The successful candidate must be available to work Monday to Friday, with shifts to be rostered between the hours of 7am and 6pm. Shift times will be discussed at interview, and can be negotiated.

The Successful Candidate Will Have

  • A willingness and capacity to embrace the Mission and Values of St John of God Health Care.
  • Considerable experience in a similar role.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, email and the Internet.
  • Ability to learn and effectively use Engineering Computer Management systems.
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft letters, memos, standard reports and other correspondence on behalf of the Engineering Leadership Team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Executive, Managers, Caregivers, the public and other external stakeholders in a courteous manner whilst conveying a high level of professionalism.
  • A high level of customer service skills including flexibility, tact and diplomacy.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritise and organise resources to achieve desired results.
  • An attention to detail to ensure work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Excellent office system organisation skills.
