About the position:

As the Nurse Manager Grade 3 for Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services (DACS), you will directly manage 11 full-time equivalent research and specialist positions and will provide professional leadership for all nursing positions within Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services. You will also work in collaboration with other drug and alcohol managers to develop, implement and monitor clinical governance, data and quality systems for all drug and alcohol clinical services across the district to ensure a high standard of clinical service delivery is achieved and maintained. This position represents drug and alcohol clinical services at an organisational level both internally and externally and provides leadership and support for senior clinical nursing positions within the service. This is a senior nursing management position and forms part of the Executive Team for Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services. The location of this position is negotiable within HNELHD. 

This position will receive collegiate support from other members of the DACS Executive Team and will be a member of the senior nursing management group. Professional development and mentoring will be available to support your success and career progression in this role.

The successful applicant with have superior leadership skills, professional commitment and high level knowledge of all domains relating to the management and delivery of drug and alcohol services. Your high level communication and interpersonal skills and focus on service excellence will be the key to your success in this position. 

An eligibility list will be created for future permanent full or part time and temporary full or part time vacancies. 

To be eligible for employment in these roles you must be: an Australian Citizen, or a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or a citizen of another country with an appropriate visa that allows you to work in Australia.
