About the role

We are currently seeking suitably experienced and qualified personnel for the positions of Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team to carry out all aspects of mobile plant mechanical maintenance on the Force fleet of heavy earthmoving machinery.

In this role you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of qualified trades people as well as the following:

  • Ongoing maintenance and service of the Force fleet of heavy earthmoving machines;
  • Ensuring all maintenance repairs are performed in accordance with company guidelines and within time & cost targets;
  • Working with Force customers to meet company objectives.

About you

  • Experienced trade qualified HD Mechanic;
  • Significant post-trade experience with heavy earth moving equipment; namely
    • Caterpillar 777F water carts;
    • Caterpillar D9T dozers;
    • Caterpillar 14M graders;
    • Caterpillar 773D water cart; and
    • Komatsu PC1250 excavator.
  • A strong commitment to safety;
  • Current (and valid) Australian Driver's license;
  • Strong analytical skills with a solutions focus;
  • Ability to attain a National Police Clearance certificate; and
  • Current licence to conduct 'High risk' work with forklift & elevated work platform and working at heights classifications will be highly regarded.
