Join a longstanding cultural agency providing high level support to multiple senior executives.


Your new company
This statutory authority represents the interests of the Indigenous Australian Population. Your team would be responsible for the ongoing administrative and secretariat support as well as project management to the senior executive.

Your new role
As the APS6 Executive Assistant you will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and executive support to SES/Senior Managers.

Your responsibilities will include diary management of the Executive officers, management of correspondence and acting as the first point of contact for the Executive office and providing a high level of service to external parties. You will be responsible for the secretariat support of meetings including coordinating meetings with staff and stakeholders, arranging travel and accommodation for the Executive and the agencies Board Members, including reconciliation and maintenance of Executive travel and credit card accounts and related cost centres. You will also be responsible for broader administration support including assisting with the coordination of ministerial and parliamentary requests as well as reports, submissions and briefs and records management.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be a professional self-starter who has a high level of integrity and a track record of working well as a member of an Executive Support team. You will be organised, adaptable to change, possesses the ability to prioritise and multi-task, have a proven track record of providing high level of accuracy and attention to detail, possess excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to liaise with important stakeholders including the Ministers offices, Portfolio Executive, Senior Executive Service (SES) from the wider Australian Public Service (APS), and stakeholder groups.

To be considered for this vacancy you must be an Australian citizen and will possess or be willing to go through the process to obtain and maintain a (NV1 or NV2) personnel security clearance.
