About the company
We are a privately owned organisation, well established in the Childcare industry with strong growth plans to increase our overall workforce by 100% in the next 12 months.

The Support Services team is an integral part of the organisation, responsible for building strong relationships with our families and enabling our Childcare Centre Operations teams to focus on offering the best of quality care. The team welcomes new families and ensures a smooth enrolment process with exceptional customer service for all ongoing support needs.

About the role 
The successful Customer Service Assistant will have proven experience in a customer service role, answering queries and solving problems for customers.

They will have demonstrated the ability to provide exceptional care and quality information to our families, whilst meeting clear targets in a busy environment.

The day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Respond to queries from families regarding bookings and requests for extra days. 
  • Record absences
  • Process billings fortnightly[AM1][AH2] 
  • Respond to all family customer account queries and work with families on debt management
  • Ensure all children have an up-to-date CCS enrolment
  • Manage Child Care Subsidy for families
  • Working collaboratively within the Support Services team to establish priorities

About you
The successful Customer Service Assistant will have a minimum 1 year experience in a customer services team with exceptional outcomes.

You will also have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers from a variety of backgrounds and nationalities
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills, including excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work in a busy environment with competing priorities
  • Experience using Salesforce [AH3][AM4] is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong problem solving ability
  • Childcare administration experience is desirable but not essential
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to learn systems quickly
