The role of a Sales Associate is the perfect entry point into a Real Estate sales career. As a Sales Associate you will support Bathurst Real Estate's highly experienced Principal, Michael Whittaker in a range of marketing and sales activities - and in turn, learn 'the ropes'.

Bathurst Real Estate are leaders in property sales in this city and have been number one for more than a decade. The business has a rich history, since its beginnings under another name in 1975. Michael and Stacey became partners in 2004, subsequently took over the reins in 2007 and changed the name at the start of 2012. In each of its faces, and since those early days, the business has been a leader in the market. A drive around the city will reveal their dominance in signs displayed on properties for sale. Another important fact which is not so easy to spot is the speed at which their team sell a property. Over time you’ll notice their signs read ‘Another Sold’ pretty quickly.

Mick entered the real estate industry at the age of 23 in 1994, he started as a sales supporter, like you will and had a long term goal to own his own real estate office. The goal was achieved when he became a partner in the business in 2004 with his wife Stacey and then 3 years later becoming sole owners of the business. Mick believes in doing things right and he instills this into his team. Mick has a strong policy of of working honestly and ethically. "We are a family run independent office" shares Stacey. The job

Real Estate sales is not easy. It takes grit and determination. It needs patience and persistence. It needs creative thinking and commitment to a process. You'll need to commit to 5 long days a week for at least 3 years before you're fully-fledged. And another 3 before you can think about buying that supercar! Saturdays are a must and odd hours are part of the game...

For the right person though, Real Estate sales is one of the most lucrative professions to be in, affording a lifestyle and choices that are unparalleled.

Bathurst Real Estate is a very busy place to be. In most cases you'll do most of your learning on the job. You'll need to be good at observing Stacey in action, a quick learner and courageous enough to ask questions.
