JOB DESCRIPTION

Fina Australia is a non-government, not-for-profit provider of Supported Accommodation and Respite Services to people with a disability and their families. As a "client-first" provider, we serve south-east Queensland (Northern Suburbs, Moreton Bay and Sunshine Coast regions).

Undergoing significant change and growth, Fina has recently opened our very own Café, servicing our clients and families as well as being open to the general public.  We are looking for a passionate hospitality professional to join the team, a very organised & energetic person to help us make coffee, serving customers and general duties at a high standard. Ideally, you will have a minimum 2 years hospitality experience and be passionate about customer service, food & coffee.

To be successful, you must be able to demonstrate organisational skills along with problem solving and effective communication skills.  We look for staff who can show their best under pressure and work well as part of a small team. Our staff do need to multitask as well, so a high level of personal presentation, an ability to articulate our menu effectively and good customer service skills are what we are looking for.

 

Knowledge, skill and qualification requirement:

  • Excellent barista skills and coffee knowledge
  • Greeting guests
  • Taking Food/drink orders
  • Use POS & EFTPOS systems
  • Some food preparation
  • Deliver Food to tables
  • Clean & Setup tables
  • Ability to work in busy environment
  • Experience working within disability sector will be highly regarded
  • A current or ability to obtain working with Children Blue Card and NDIS worker screening

  • Reliable with the availability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, early mornings and occasional evenings.
